Community Guidelines

• Use real, recent photos that clearly show your face.
• Be honest about your age, location, and what you're looking for.
• Don't impersonate anyone — not a celebrity, not a friend, not DivorceAve staff.

• No AI-generated or AI-altered photos.
• No photos of only pets, scenery, cars, memes, or quotes.
• No photos that show another identifiable person without their consent.
• No sexually explicit or revealing imagery.
• No images of weapons, drugs, or anything illegal.

• No harassment, threats, stalking, or sexual harassment.
• No hate speech or slurs based on race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected status.
• No doxxing or sharing others' private information.
• Take "no" for an answer. Don't message someone repeatedly after they've disengaged.

• Never ask another member for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial information.
• Don't promote investments, business opportunities, or recruit members for outside services.
• Don't direct members to off-platform payment apps (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, wire transfer).
• Romance scams are a permanent-ban offense and may be reported to law enforcement.

• You must be 18 or older. No exceptions.
• No child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This is a crime. We report it to NCMEC.
• No non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn").
• No solicitation of prostitution or human trafficking.
• No content depicting violence, self-harm, or animal cruelty.

• Don't screenshot conversations and post them elsewhere.
• Don't share another member's name, photos, phone number, address, or workplace.

We take action proportional to the violation:

• Warning. First violations of minor rules, with the offending content removed.
• Restrictions. Temporary loss of messaging, photo upload, or discovery features.
• Suspension. Temporary loss of all access while we investigate.
• Permanent ban. For serious violations (scams, harassment, CSAM, fraud) or repeated offenses. Banned accounts cannot create new ones.

For decisions affecting your account, you may appeal by emailing info@divorceave.com with the subject line "Appeal."

Every profile has a Report button. So does every message. Reports are reviewed by a human moderator and are taken seriously. We may ask for additional context. We will not share your identity with the person you reported.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For ongoing harassment or threats, you may also contact local law enforcement and request a preservation of evidence — we will cooperate with valid legal process.
