Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription within 3 business days of your first paid charge and receive a full refund. This right exists under several state dating-service statutes (including NY GBL §394-c, IL Dating Referral Services Act, and CA Civ. Code §1694).

To exercise this right, email info@divorceave.com with the subject line "Cancel — Cooling Off Refund." Include the phone number on your account. We will refund your most recent charge in full within 10 business days.

Outside the 3-day cooling-off window, charges are generally non-refundable. You can cancel anytime from Settings, and your subscription will not renew, but we do not pro-rate the partial month already paid.

• Duplicate charges
• Service outages we cause that prevent you from using your subscription
• Charges after a clear cancellation that we failed to process

Please reach out to us before filing a chargeback with your card issuer — most billing concerns can be resolved within 24 hours. Chargebacks filed without contacting us may result in account suspension.

If your account is banned for violating our Terms of Service, your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current paid period. We do not issue refunds for the unused portion of that period when the ban is for cause.
